With the personal branding photo session, you leave with a variety of environmental portraits and customized stock photos that you can use on your website, social media pages, and press kits. I love environmental portraits because they contextualize who you are and what you do.
They tend to be taken on-location in your studio, office, home, or workspace. We can also shoot outdoors or rent a space that fits your aesthetic.
Customized stock photos are those marketing images that make your business stand out from all the others
They act to:
- Help customers understand a product or service that is difficult to describe in writing
- Give customers someone to relate to
- Provide sneak peeks or behind-the-scenes looks
- Tell your story of what makes you unique

After booking with me, you’ll fill out a thorough branding and shot list questionnaire that goes deep into who you are and what you hope to gain from the session.

From start to finish, I work with you to understand what you need and want from the session. We’re not creating generic stock photos here: you want photos that accurately communicate your brand and story. It’s up to you what you want to capture, but typically, it’ll be a combination of portraits and lifestyle images.

And shouldn't you have photos that make you LOOK like the boss that you are, DOING the boss things, IN your boss space?
Oftentimes, we're so focused on getting customers and launching new things that we forget to market ourselves. You are your brand's strongest advocate, and your photos should reflect that.
There's no such thing as being bad at having your photo taken
I've worked with many people who have never had professional photos done. It's not you who is bad at having photos taken, it's the photographer. A good photographer will work with you to bring out your personality and your best self.
I get it: photoshoots can be scary and anxiety-inducing. I also don't like being in front of the camera! But because my photography style leans more toward documentary, you don't need to worry as much about being "picture perfect." I'll be there to encourage you and work with you on poses.
This should be FUN and exciting, not something to dread.
So what does a shoot with me look like?
At the beginning of the session, we’ll spend a few minutes saying hi, perhaps even grab a coffee or tea. To ease you into feeling comfortable with the camera, I’ll have you do some work (or pretend to do some work).
From there, we’ll follow the shoot plan and shot list. The eventual goal is to have it feel like you’re hanging out with a friend, who also happens to have a camera on her.

The personal branding session has three packages available: Poppy, Lilac, and Magnolia. These differ in shoot time, number of locations, outfits, and photos. If you’d like to adjust these numbers, add-ons are available to you.

For the budding creative entrepreneur
Just starting out or looking for a refresh? With 25 photos, this will give you a great set to fill out your social media bios and a few website pages.
This session is also useful for:

- Several product or service features
- Marketing campaigns and collateral

Investment
Because personal branding is investing in your brand and image.
All packages and fees are described below. I don’t do sitting fees or reveal sessions: all available pricing and add-ons are on this page.
There’s a 10% discount if you book four sessions in a year at once—great for quarterly planning or if you need a variety of content throughout the year.
To secure your session date, I require
1) $200 non-refundable date reservation fee that is applied towards your total, and 2) a signed contract.

Extended travel distance within Bay Area:
- Less than 1 hour drive away from zip code 94121: $100
